Support of Volunteer and NPO activities by the Community Chest

The support of volunteer activities by the Community Chest has been actively addressed in the evaluation of the community chest by the Community Chest Strategy Conceiving Committee Facing to the 21st Century. In response to it, the support of volunteer and NPO activities has been offered in various forms currently. To say concretely, the support includes the allocation based on the pioneering activity programs hold by Prefectural Community Chest and the publicly participated application, the allocation to “Welfare NPO” in the allocated portion to organizations and facilities and the support for volunteer organizations through Municipal Councils of Social Welfare.
