Structure of Community Chest
The period of the Community Chest Campaign is specified as three months from October 1 to December 31 every year. As an overall flow, one year constitutes one cycle. (Refer to the table below.)
|April||Reception of Application for Allocation
Receive the applications for allocation from nongovernment social welfare facilities and organizations in the community.
|May to June||Drawing of Allocation Plan
Hold the Allocation Committee. Examine and check the contents of applications for allocation, then draw up the allocation plan.
|July||Decision of the campaign goal
Decide the campaign goal at the Board of Directors and the Board of Councillors based on the allocation plan.
|August to September||Preparation for fund raising activities
Training of volunteers and preparation of leaflet
|October to December||Fund raising (October 1 to December 31)|
|December||Year End Mutual Help Campaign (December 1 to December 31)|
|January||Totalization of the collected fund|
|February||Adjustment of the allocation plan
Adjust the allocation plan considering the amount of the fund collected.
